I can not say enough about the team and staff at First Restoration. I made a call after having 350 gallons of water ruin two of our apartments, and the team was here within an hour with all of the equipment and a game plan. They are all great to work with and very attentive to the job. Thank you First Restoration for helping us out.

A pipe above our bedroom froze in minus nine degrees and burst. We were out of town and returned to a flooded floor, caved in ceiling, and fallen insulation all over. Ryan from FRS came the next morning and got the ball rolling. It took a week to dry the floorswith a huge assortment of equipment. Someone was here daily checking progress. The ceiling was repaired excellently by Christian with new drywall and insulation and pattern and paint matching so exactly that we cannot tell where the damage was. FRS uses Five Step Carpet Care in Asheville to handle rugs. They came that day and took the sopping oriental rug away to dry and clean. It looks wonderful now. The office staff is so helpful and they allow payments with a card. They are in Fletcher, but came daily to Waynesville to keep everything going. I hope we never have another disaster, but if so, these are my go to guys!!

FRS was super responsive and very professional. We had water damage from a leak and they sent someone out next day to assess the damage and set up the equipment to remediate. They checked the progress daily and as soon as the equipment was removed they had a contractor out here to replace drywall and trim. Cannot recommend them enough.

I was instructed to call a "mitigation" company by our insurance adjuster after we had a water leak/flood in our home. I had no idea who to call. After doing a few searches and luckily not calling one that had bad reviews, I stumbled onto First Restorations page. I saw a friend had posted good things and the majority of the reviews I read (very quickly) were raving about them. My first call was met with the upmost care for my situation and home. Within a half an hour (someone was close by thankfully) - someone from their management team came right over to access the situation. They said that a team would be back around 5:00 pm to start putting in mitigation equipment - (fans, dehumidifiers etc.). They showed up about 3:00 which was wonderful. All the young men on this mitigation team are polite and professional. They worked quickly and many of them were very knowledgeable about what was needed. They came out everyday to check the equipment and take moisture readings. The repair team also did a thorough estimate for the damages. There were a few 'hiccups' along the way with insurance and some miscommunication but a phone call to the main office was all it took. I have the highest respect for this company. I would recommend them to anyone. I hope this helps someone else. Thank you First Restoration!!

Our vacation home had flooding due to Tropical Storm Fred. We needed help immediately. Ryan came out and assured us that they would take care of us. We had to leave everything in his hands. Last week, we went back up from our home in Florida. We were pleasantly surprised at how good everything looked. They left our place clean, dry and ready for the repairs. I can’t thank them enough for their help and professionalism! I would recommend this company to anyone who has damage from flooding.

We suffered a flood from an overflowing washing machine in a property that was under contract to be sold. Beautiful oak hardwood floors had started to cup and buckle. First Restoration came within hours after I called, took charge, fought on our behalf with a difficult insurance company, and did not leave until the floors were back to their original beautiful condition. We were so please with First Restoration that we hired them for a mold mitigation problem in another property. I strongly recommend them.

As a regional manager of a few restaurants in the area, it's great to have a company to contact that you can trust. First Restoration Services is one of those companies. Any time I've contacted First Restoration Services, they were quick to respond and offer whatever assistance they could. One of the project managers, James Chaput, was especially helpful in advising us on a couple of repairs needed. I have also referred a few of my employees in need of water damage restoration/repair, and they were quick and responsive in helping them to solve their issues as well. Shawn and Kelly, the owners, are very professional and will do all they can to help you get your property in order. After a flood in my exercise studio, where water cascaded down overnight from an apartment above my space, splitting the ceiling and dumping all over the hardwood floor, FRS emergency services - headed by Daniel Moonan - responded immediately. He and his team were exceptional in their professional conduct, respect of the space and specialized exercise equipment, and extremely time efficient. They were followed by the reconstruction team headed by Craig Holland, who have been similarly efficient and excellent in response. Their work continues as they help me navigate the insurance claim and replacement of the entire floor, ensuring the best possible outcome. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.
