Event Description: The Asheville Affiliates would like to celebrate ALL of the non-profits that we've helped in the past with our parties with a purpose. YOU are invited! Please invite all your friends + family + supporters. Participating Non-Profits: Asheville Art Museum Asheville Community Yoga Asheville Community Theatre The Appalachian Trail Conservancy Asheville GreenWorks Asheville Museum of Science (formerly Colburn Earth Science Museum) The Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club of Buncombe County Eliada FEAST Girls on the Run of Western North Carolina Green Opportunities (GO) The Hope Chest for Women, Inc. Terpsicorps Theatre of Dance Included with each $15 ticket purchase are 2 Catawba beers, food + a chance for your favorite non-profit to win the proceeds! Tickets will be sold at the door, so please bring cash with you. We'll have DJ, "The Time Machine hosted by Ben Lovett", spinning us through decades of tunes, so bring your dancing shoes! The presenting sponsor, the Asheville Affiliates, was founded in 1999 as a social networking group for professionals to benefit area nonprofits. The organization has grown into a community network of more than 3,000 members. In the past 17 years, The Asheville Affiliates have raised over $500,000 for 65 non-profits. Membership is free and all Affiliates fundraising events are open to the public.
