Event Description: Have you ever wondered what happens behind the "STAFF ONLY" doors at the Nature Center? Now's your chance to find out! Areas visited on the Wild Walk may* include the Small Mammal habitat, the Predator area, and the Animal Kitchen. Don't miss out on this amazing up-close encounter with some of your favorite wildlife! Join us on October 1st for this one of a kind behind-the-scenes tour! Tour lasts from 1:45 to 3:15pm. $25 for Friends members $30 for non-members $15 for children under 16 (no strollers). Cost includes admission to the Nature Center. Please note: Tour areas are subject to change depending on animal availability, weather, and other circumstances; no direct contact with animals is permitted. Preregistration and prepayment is required to reserve one of the limited spaces. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. This tour is not recommended for very young children. The tour will be held rain or shine; please come prepared to do a good bit of walking outdoors in whatever the weather may be (raincoats and umbrellas are welcome!) Let us know when you sign up if brisk walking could pose a difficulty for you. Photographs are not allowed in behind-the-scenes areas.
