Leicester Flooring

I did have some issues with flooring that was installed, this was a misrepresentation by the salesman. The flooring began to deteriorate because it was not the right flooring for my needs. I notified the store owner and the manufacturer would not make the product good so the flooring was replaced by the store itself out of their own profits. It took some time but the correction was made. I would use them again.

The company reminds me of a geode: from the outside, not a shop that beckons, but the inside! yes!! like all the beauty INSIDE that geode.

Had carpeting installed in February. Noticed that our bed frame was creaky, which it wasn't before they took it apart and "reassembled" it. Today, we hoisted the very heavy mattress and box spring off the bed and found the reason. The frame was missing 1/2 of its hardware, the slats that attach to the side rails were not screwed back in -3/4 of that hardware was missing. We had only the four screws there that weren't the right length to screw the slats to the bracket.

We had a positive experience with the carpet installation but shoddy work on putting the furniture back together. We used them because of their reputation but won't again. All the Vice President, Becky, kept saying was that Kelly is their best tech, and she was sorry, she couldn't believe it, she'll talk to him. Didn't offer to pay for the replacement hardware either. Not happy at all.

I have good comments and some negative ones. The price and quality of the installation itself was excellent. Now for the bad, the installers set of my personal pepper spray which pretty ended up clearing out my house and ending the work for the evening. The next day I noticed one of the vinyl slats for the vertical blinds on my patio door was missing and when I showed it to the lead installer he asked that I wait a minute and he went outside and came back in with the missing slat but it had been folded in four sections. Someone had broken the blind lose from its grommet and instead of telling me about it, they took it outside my home, folded it up and discarded it. I called Leicester flooring I told the person who said they were the owner and his only comment was this was his best crew and he would bring the issue up with the installers. The next evening my security system wouldn't turn on for the second day in a row so I went to bed with it not functioning as it should and the next day I checked the sensors on the bottom next to the carpeting on two doors and found two of the sensors had been broken off (and disposed of) without anything being said to me. I called my alarm company and they arranged to have a tech come out and install two new sensors. I again called Leicester Flooring and this time I got what was supposedly the owners voice mail and told him about the two broken off and missing sensors as well as telling him once again about the pepper spray and the missing and damaged vinyl slat on the patio door blind. I emphasized I was not seeking any kind of remuneration for the items but said I only wanted to discuss the three items and said it was a poor example of what I think a customer should expect to happen especially when the missing blind was found outside my home and nothing was said about the two broken and missing sensors. Of course I never heard back from the "owner". So, good installation work and price, not much on the integrity of some of the installers and poor followup by the "owner".

They installed a beautiful remnant carpet piece into our new kids attic room. Every step of the process was easy, positive, and seamless, and the pricing very fair. Installation excellent. Very quick and timely with our tight schedule. After having terrible experiences at other flooring places, working with the honest folks at Leicester Flooring was a breath of fresh air! We are placing another order today to get the top floor of our very old farmhouse carpeting (to cut back on kids' noise!) and are looking forward to another positive experience. Highly recommend.

Vinyl installation. Keep changing the charges (3X). Did not contract a big dollar sale. Photos will tell the story.

Wonderful People!! They did our carpet in our house years ago. We needed it done quickly and that's what we got. So when our Church needed flooring we suggested Leicester Flooring! They were great to work with. And the guys that put down the hardwood flooring worked so efficiently we were all in shock! The floors are beautiful!

The installers were fantastic and I would give them a 5 stars; however, the salesperson, Tim Reid I give zero stars. I purchased my flooring, having a quote good for 30 days, paid for it in full, had the installation scheduled, and the day before the flooring was scheduled for installation, received an email from Tim Reid informing me that I owed another $1044.31 because he forgot to include it on the final quote. He did not offer me any discount for his mistake, just told me he didn't charge me for the quarter round, which he had also forgot to include in the quote. Needless to say I was very upset. I would not recommend anyone dealing with Tim Reid at Leicester carpet unless you want hit with additional charges when you have the product installed.

AWESOME! We just had Leicester Carpet redo all of our floors ....... both tile and carpet. Price was extremely competitive, all US made products and we supported a local vendor. WIN WIN for everyone! And their customer service is second to none. Thank you QQ
