Asheville Gallery of Art's September featured artist is Bill Cole, whose paintings celebrate the art hidden in everyday scenes. Bill's paintings blend realism with abstraction to show the interplay of bright colors with the geometry of planes and angles. The show "Taking the Ordinary to the Extraordinary" runs September 1-30 during regular gallery hours, 11 am to 6 pm Monday through Saturday and 11 am to 4 pm Sunday. Also on view and for sale are the works of the other 30 gallery members.
