Hillman Beer

Hillman was a highlight of our time in Asheville!

The Hill and Oats I had was tasty, but the food was almost more impressive! It's not common to find a brewery that can nail beer AND food, but they certainly did!

We ordered the Buffalo and Falafel wraps and they were delicious!!

Service was very kind! And atmosphere was chill! Great space for dogs too!

Met a co worker for lunch. We were greeted by a very bubbly person , Emily who made us feel so welcome. She was a very attentive and made sure we were not rushed.
It was sunny but very windy so we sat inside.
You order at the bar and they will bring your food out to you.
Of course we each had a beer both tasty. fFor lunch I had the club sandwich and my friend had the chicken sandwich both came with homemade chips. Both meals were also good and tasty.

Great beer and food.

Had an English gentleman who was very vocal in his opinions and political beliefs. All good but not something I enjoy discussing over some good beer, especially if we disagree

My wife and I stopped in for lunch, and were pleasantly surprised. The bartender provided some great suggestions on what to sample in my flight. We each got the grilled cheese sandwich... don't know it until you try it. It was great, and comes with the house made chips.

Every staff member that we saw was friendly and polite.

Hillman is a nice neighborhood bar on the outskirts of Biltmore Village and just far enough away from the main gate of the Biltmore Estate to keep most tourists away. There is lots of outdoor seating (and indoor) and one of the most dog-friendly breweries in the area.

We usually go for beers but the food menu is also good. Tonight, we had the smash burger and fries, and the kale salad with fried chicken. Both were good and filling. We also enjoyed the Thursday night beer special (Saison), the Oktoberfest and my favorite, Mama Bear.

Bar service can be a bit slow if there's a crowd as there was on this night and we didn't realize until a bit later that it was trivia night. Kudos to the staff for walking around with a handheld device to replenish food and drink and close out tabs.

We had a nice night at Hillman enjoying their beverages and dinner at a picnic table outside. The food was tasty and we had quick, efficient service!

Absolutely adore this space- live the window and open feel. Hybrid warehouse and restaurant feel. It's clean and crisp but welcoming. Nice outdoor seating for the warm months.

Nate is a super star- he was our server and he was great. Seemed pumped to help us and generally to be working there.

The kale salad was delish but would have been missing something without protein. Luckily for me they have a ton of veggie options. The falafel was pretty fried but in a oh that's good way. Tasted homemade. The salad itself was very flavorful and felt super healthy.

I think their beers are only ok but lots of competition around these parts.

This is a cute creekside brewery with a small, but good, selection of beers. They gave a large patio in the front, a small indoor area and a quiet spot in the back next to the creek. After ordering at the bar, just pick a table depending on your mood & chill whilst drinking your brew.

Great beer, super chill atmosphere, and great food! Tried the bbq burger with a veggie patty and it was delicious, and the fries were fresh and crispy too. Their house-made pickles on the side were awesome. Also had the pretzel with beer cheese and it was delicious. Highly recommend this spot!

First time here. Was here on vac and some of the group likes beer so we met up here for lunch and drinks. I'm not a beer drinker so can't tell you anything about it but the others said it was good. Nice place , lots of room inside and large outdoor area . The food was good and enjoyed being there.
