Mountain Radiance

This is definitely my favorite face salon in asheville. The staff are super friendly and down to earth. There is no pretension here. Lauren and her husband are the owners, and she is so warm. I also felt like I could trust my esthetician Sarah who was extremely knowledgeable and skilled. She took the time to explain every action that she was taking so that there no surprises. It felt a bit like a trauma informed facial (in the same way that we have trained informed yoga). They are also into high tech machines here which I really like. And, they do a great job with text messaging where you can text with a real person as part of their confirmation process.

Showed up for my 2:00 appointment and was told it had been cancelled. Unorganized office.

Dr. Zacher was awesome. I was a loyal patient for 5 years. but he retired late summer 2021. These people do not provide the same service as Dr. Zacher. Very unprofessional group, seem to lose my records everytine I go in, and I have had to fill out extensive history every time.
The two Botox treatments I had didn't last as long as they did with previous owner/doctor. Not sure if it's technique or product. They inject more units, but they dint seem to "take" now.
I went to Mounatain Radiance for 5 1/2 years. I'm going somewhere else for better results and service. Who cares if they have a cute little tray of chocolates if you don't get what you pay for?

Very disappointed in quality of work. After calling and letting them know they could careless if you are disappointed.
Best not to get Botox in a hotel at a cheaper price ,because you get what you pay for . I did a review on the website and they of course said I was not a
customer .

They are rip-off artists - they charged me $2,000 and I didn't get any good results!! Save your money and go to a reputable place!

As men & West Coast/WeHo/Venice Beach transplants, (and brand conscious consumers) we didn't expect to find the obviously highly experienced & locally respected "Dr. Z" as our East Coast injectable, botox Wizard. But he IS good! Almost always easy to get in @ Mtn Radiance. Just been in Asheville for almost a couple years, but never had a booking issue with Mtn. R. - even a few weeks before a major Holiday we seem to get in with easy scheduling. Dr. Z is fast (which we like), knows where to put the Botox and we're definitely giv'n him some stars *****! Botox/Injectables are the only things we've had from him so far, so that's all we can comment on, but we've read the reviews about hair removal and other offerings and won't hesitate when it's time for that.

When you relocate from coast to (the other) coast, certain things you gotta know the location of right away (or actually, BEFORE you consider relocation :)...

1. Your favorite local watering hole, Coffee house (gotta love ODD'S on Haywood!),

2. Best and most progressive (and affordable) dentist (cosmetic & general - Dr. Bernier is the best in West Asheville & on Merrimon Ave. in North Ash too!),

3. Best Vietnamese dive (that's hard to get in at lunch on a Weds at 2:00) - ain't found it yet but we won't stop till we do ;(, and most importantly for us, rainbow flag carrying middle aged fellas....,

4. The best Botox place in town! That's Mtn. Radiance and "Dr. Z", no doubt. We are happy, very satisfied and highly recommend the place, and the man-doc and his quick-fix painless injectables. Yay!! Gotta love the quick, affordable and definitely essential Botox especially with his convenient and discreet in and out location! (If you're from West Coast, makes you wanna have a Lo-Carb Burger?) - Happy to recommend the Place & the Doc!

Asheville is filled with little "West Coast-like Surprises". You just gotta look for them in all the nook and crannies, but Asheville is leaning brand-progressive and in spite of the Pandemic, we are finding our way around this little boutique, Appalachian town, with leading-edge angles, ideas, services and essentials. It's a "Southern 2020" for us and we are loving Asheville, N.C. West coast fellas can survive happily here, after all!

Dr. Zacker and all of his staff are so knowledgeable and kind! This was my first time receiving a filler so I was naturally nervous, the process was seamless and painless. I got amazing natural looking results and when I went to pay I received a huge coupon just for signing up. I will be back in a few months.

I've been a customer for a few years at Mountain Radiance and I've been so happy with their services. Very friendly, welcoming and professional, they take their time and explain things while making sure you have a great experience and results. They are affordable and accessible. I also really appreciate that they don't try to sell me other services - I've had dermatologists and even gynecologists​ try to sell me injections and procedures that weren't even on my radar, making me feel self-conscious upon leaving, but I've never had that experience in my half-dozen appointments at Mountain Radiance.

I've been using Dr. Zacher for 5 years now and have always been happy with my results. He listens to my needs and is always professional. His Botox and B-12 injections are painless!
