Gillespie Dental Associates

Great dental practice, providing excellent care and friendly staff throughout the practice. We've been going here since we moved to WNC, and I'm thankful they were recommended to us.

I have moved on from Dr. Gillespie, with good reason. I now have a dentist who is kind, patient, walks me through cleanings and procedures with exactly what he is going to do. He takes time to explain, and is happy to pause and take a break if needed.

Gillespie is the exact opposite of this. He threatens underage patients with being held down, does not adhere to patients request for the level of numbing, and does not seem to understand the meaning of consent. I requested no numbing for a tooth being pulled - he pulled the majority of the tooth (the remainder of which later was flicked out by another dentist who didn't think I needed numbing at all), and proceeded to be emotionally/verbally abusive trying to force me into an injection.

I will never return to this office, and I certainly would never dream of bringing my children here. If you're looking for a kind and decent dentist, steer clear of this office.

This office was able to accommodate me at the last minute after my old crown had cracked. The office runs like clockwork. Very professional and very personable. I really cannot recommend them enough!

World class customer service and amazing State of the Art Equipment combined with Dr. Gillespie and Ashley's commitment to excellence made me feel like I was being cared for by the best dental practice in the state! Every person on the team made me feel safe and in good hands. It was the best dental experience of my life!

Very friendly office with good dental practitioners. Seems to place a heavy emphasis on the "business" of dentistry. What used to be courtesy gifts of toothpaste on your departure can now generate up to a $22 charge. Since these are likely provided to the dentists free by the manufacturing and distributing representatives, a charge to the patient for the product seems unwarranted.

Imagine a perfect dental practice. What?!!! You say there is not one. I have a delightful surprise for you, Gillespie Dental. A friend recommended the practice a year ago and I've never been so grateful for a dental referral like this one. EVERYONE who works here are committed to the patient having the best experience possible. The front desk folks are helpful and pleasant. The dentists excellent and the dental support staff amazing. I'm a senior w some serious health issues and I am treated very well w excellent care. But believe it or not, I actually have a good time in the dental chair. This office is patient focused. It's not unusual for staff members to have worked together for years-/a sign of a good workplace because there's so little staff turn over. I advise making your next dental appointment here before all their appointments are full. Fantastic place. Oh yeah and they work w you to manage the dental costs effectively

Best dental experience I have ever had and I am 76 years old with British teeth and we all know what that means.

Mary rocks! She has gotten my teeth and gums 100x more healthy and I'm not exaggerating! Well, ok maybe a little bit she's awesome!

You can count on competence and a caring helpful attitude from everyone in the practice. Their coronavirus precautions are very reassuring as well.

I almost enjoyed my visit to the dentist with Doreen and that's a lot to say for a person who generally despises any kind of dental visit. The appointment was on time, pleasant people, and a wonderful professional & yet relaxed dental visit.
