Tyson Furniture

We came in on on Saturday looking fotr a chaise/sofa and received excellent customer service. Found what we wanted, got to sit on a sample they had. Ordered and was delivered in just a few weeks. After a while, we noticed that the chaise was coming disconnected from the sofa. Tried everything. Called Tyson's, they ordered a new kit from Basset and are coming next week to fix it! The really expansive inventory helps in actually seeing and trying what you want!

We had a great experience. Our sales lady Tracy was wonderful. I would definitely get her to help us again.

We purchased a powered love seat made by Bassett at Tyson's 4 years ago. There is a problem with the wiring harness that moves the footrest up and down. Tyson's warranty is only good for one year, but Tyson's stepped up and purchased the part for us, and is mailing it to us at no charge!
Lana, in customer service, did a wonderful job helping us with this issue. I highly recommend Tyson's Furniture!

My father-in-law recently bought a mattress set and had it delivered. I might add, his previous mattress had also been purchased at Tyson's about 10 years ago. After a couple of nights trying to sleep he realized the mattress was too soft and wanted to exchange it. EXCHANGE IT. We offered to buy a mattress cover to keep it clean and return it to the store for an EXCHANGE. We were told the mattress didn't have a "comfort guarantee" and could not be exchanged. I was shocked that they were so inflexible. The salesperson said she understood when I told her that most stores offer a period of time for return and she was sorry for his displeasure. BEWARE! TYSON'S IS NOT CONSUMER FRIENDLY.

Bought quite a bit of furniture from Tyson's. I feel they have excellent quality and great prices. Sarah Moore has been a great salesperson to work with.

We walked in between two sets of older people and while the staff jumped to help them we were ignored. Bummer because we have heard good things about this place and we've got a brand new home to furnish. I can only assume it was because we are in our 30s and not our 60s.

Excellent selection (which unfortunately is disappearing like everything else). They keep getting more stock though and I'm sure they sell a lot before the holidays every year. Very personal, well informed service staff. Angel helped us and we highly recommend her. She knows a lots about the products and has great design ideas! Tysons is huge (I think 70k sq. Ft. of showroom space), they will sell off the showroom floor but have most of their furniture in stock. Have to mention the great little Bistro across the street - it's another reason we like going to Tysons! Also, I think most everything they sell, if not all, is made in the USA!

Fourth time visiting today since moving to the area two years ago, and it was the first time an employee even greeted me - but that was the end of the customer service. Sadly will be taking my business out to Asheville or Hickory. As an FYI, they are dog friendly - there were yippy little dogs in the store (also some larger, well behaved ones - as a dog owner of a not always well behaved dog, if it can't behave well don't bring it!).

I have been a customer of Tyson for years, and my parents before me. They are honest, reasonable, and will work to make your purchase one that fits your needs and your wallet.

Great store. Have been going here since I was a kid. The best part of this store is that it hasn't changed except for the inventory. They still do the invoices on paper, and I love the whole sales desk area. Takes me back to when times were simpler. They don't hound you like used car salesmen, but if you need someone they are really nice to deal with. I'm glad they sell American made products too. I only shop here for furniture. Keep it up!
